Throughout his life, James John Garth Wilkinson was the principle translator of Emanuel Swedenborg‘s works from Latin into English, beginning in 1843 at the age 31 with the publication of The Animal Kingdom (Regnum Animale), he proceeded to translate and publish many principle works by Emanuel Swedenborg. His last publication was in 1892 at the age of 80 with The African and the true Christian religion, his magna charta: a study in the writings of Emanuel Swedenborg (2).
